Cultural Heritage Law

Since 2011 she is active in Cultural Heritage Law. Her research interests include the protection of cultural heritage, cultural property rights, illicit trafficking in cultural objects, comparative analysis as well as the analysis of international conventions and EU Law. 

She is, also, an active member of Hellenic Society for Law and Archaeology, a non-profit organization specializing in Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Law. She is often invited to give lectures on issues concerning the legal protection of cultural heritage.

Work Experience

Her working experience includes working for more than ten (10) years for a leading Greek State corporation, the Hellenic Public Properties Company (HPPC) S.A, the largest company for the management and exploitation of state-owned properties in Greece.

She has worked for various privatization projects of the Greek State and has advised on the legal aspects concerning the public real estate privatization programmes. As a legal counsel of a State owned company, she has worked closely and collaborated with many public sector entities and Ministries and she has acted in many of the landmark real estate transactions which have occurred over the last few of years.
